Of real import: is a reduction proportionally of just 10% protein with an almost equivalent balance of carbs and fats. But really profound: the dramatic increased activation of autophagy means disposal of old protein including fast growing cells...and this includes cancer cells and the refeeding phase means growth hormone increases and the dramatic rebooting or boosting of the rebuilding of new proteins and cells.
