The benefits of Turmeric, Curcumin, are far reaching! Turmeric & Cancer has been researched by Michael Greger, and has revealed a somewhat limited, ‘last ditch’ benefit for serious cancers, such as pancreatic. Any diagnosis in this department usually has the kiss of death written all over it…and often survival is only a matter of months. Have written a number of articles about recent research respecting cancer…Particularly about Warburg, a prior and World War 2 German national, and double Nobel prize winner, who died in 1970, and now seems his research vindicated. Effectively ‘that cancer is an anaerobic cellular ‘fermentation’ major issue in the presence of oxygen’. A genetic explanation now favored. After the discovery of DNA at Cambridge in late 1953, this concept was shunted aside, with its metabolic mitochondrial breakdown explanation, for several decades! Here’s a great read: Tripping Over The Truth by Travis Christofferson. But at hand, the Turmeric Cancer Connection.

Diet important…the more plant based the better. Warburg…ahead of his time…favored organic…when consuming meat…SHOULD be organic. The Turmeric Cancer Connection.

Some restricted consumption of meat or fish solves certain nutrient issues. But in India it seems Turmeric always cooked with plant based diet, which was always a natural for most Indians, that counts…remember that was always implicitly present if one adopts a completely vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. After all our Paleolithic origins cry out for a somewhat severely restricted omnivorous approach. But the more plant based one becomes, generally the more protection it seems from cancer. Add partial fasting, protein counting. All of which except for the young…by that up to say 35 years!…we eat about 4 to 5 times too much protein in North America. Think of a 12 ounce steak as literally four times too much steak…particularly when we have already had our fill of other protein that day.

Some of us cannot give up Smoking in which case that brilliant antioxidant Astaxanthin is a good idea..even if you are a non-smoker!.but kick that habit, and always cut back on the alcohol… Astaxanthin, it is truly up there as one of the best, if not the best, Antioxidant that is Mitochondrial really effective. But of course as Michael Greger has pointed out….Turmeric significant….for the Turmeric Cancer Connection.
