Top Addictive Drug? Relentless Sugar!
Have to keep refreshing my thinking on sugar and how horrific it now is to our health! We all know the sugar craze driving the plantation craze and slavery inhumanity in the West Indies and Southern Eastern US States. All during the seventeen hundreds on-wards!
Have just come back from Maui and the tourist sugar train! So really realize that slavery and shocking desperate transportation from Africa so intimately entwined.
But extreme sugar addiction came with the Nixon era of the nineteen seventies.
It’s the High Fructose Corn Syrup, or HFCS.  That can ONLY be metabolized by a conversion to fat by the Liver.
With other sugars it is an overall bodily metabolism, and whilst creating Insulin Resistance, before the seventies the Obesity Crisis was nowhere near as bad.
This despite the now apparent Ancel Keys deception and capitulation both to the sugar industry by a fixation on fats and encouragement of trans fat margarines! This a boom to the likes of Proctor and Gamble and Unilever!
Now thanks to the HFCS transition two thirds of the US population is overweight and thirty to thirty five percent can be classified as OBESE!
Sugar is the White Stuff and I include white bread and White Rice. All the same color as Heroin! And really just as addictive if it is transitioned into HFCS or High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Nixon probably motivated by the idea of cheap processed foods for the masses, but turns out to be maybe the most tragic mistake of that century.
Just think of all the Metabolic Syndrome issues: including Cancer, Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes,
and awful things like Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. Even MS a close relative, and that is also so ugly!

Now White Rice is included above, but this one has the double whammy of Arsenic! That poison from the old plantations, and also endemic now in most paddy fields. Ironically the safest are California!
